I recenrly got S&S 551cams put in my stage one road king & a dyno  but my Screaming Eagle mufflers were too restrictive ,so I have swaped to Rineharts & the extra torque down low is awesome, but there is now a flat spot before it launches. Can this be adjusted within the SERT or do I need to dyno it again?.... all work was done by Thunder tech & was told that when baffles restrict flow you lose  torque down low in the rev range ,which is aparent now that I have changed slip-ons, once this minor Hick up is rectified I`ll be happier than a dog with two Dicks, this cam & muffler combo is freakin sweet !            thanks in advance for all your opions ,Rod

    Hi Rod,

The change you made with your mufflers will affect the tune quite allot. Although you can only feel a hickup in a small area the whole tune will be incorrect. Unfortunately there wont be a download map that will work in your bike here in Australia. I know its another expence but to have it running good you will need another Dyno tune. The tuneup requirements with that setup will be very specific. I've used that same setup a few times and I know what you mean about really good power and feel. When you have it correctly tuned it will really wake it up.

    Cheers Brian..

I ended up turning the Sert Off and getting an Auto Tuner, It's already paid for it self.
