Does anyone know if twin cam primaries are interchangeable with evo's? Trying to source an inner primary at the moment and getting conflicting info. Any help is appreciated

     Not entirely true.....

I sold  my entire primary TC88 unit to to a mate that was doing a custom rigid. He was running an evo  in that and I saw it all bolted up.

The only issues he had was due to the 250 arse end he was running, it needed spacing out ( as any primary would need with that size rear end)

From memory, the only other issue was he had to fabricate an adaptor/thickneser for the gearbox (I think)  Main shaft. ( it could be only one of two shafts there!) those issues aside it was a bolt on affair

    BUT

I never saw it running as he was still completing te mock up last time I saw him. That said,he wouldn't have gone to the trouble if it wasn't gunna work. And I know he had spoken to a reputable Harley mechanic regarding fitment prior to buying it from me.

Note : the bike in question is being built as  show bike to display his spraypainting skills for his business, but it is going to be ridden to the shows.

Thanks guys, Yep the more I'm reading they should be up bolt up affair all the way from 1990 to 2006. That being said I've located an Evo item so I won't be able to test the theory.

    Cheers.
