As per my heading I am thinking about chroming a set of wheels for my rocker and was hoping someone out there has had this done and had some idea on price and was seeking advice on if you would recommend this as an idea or would saving my hard earned cash for a new set of wheels be better suited. 

This is a question of advice and I am open to all answers to help me out. I am looking to buy a second hand set off eBay and get them chromed. I am in Melbourne if anyone can also advise on a quality chromer? 

Ok to follow on from this thread I have a price for the wheels chromed, $650 for the front $750 for the rear, $50 each for the rotors and $260 for the pulley. Along with $650 for the wheels I'm looking at a bill of about $2500.

So the new question is do I put on new wheels and what should I expect a price should be or do I go for the chromed option?

I am after opinions to assist with my decision and after anyone who has had this experience?

You can polish your wheels  and then clear coat them. Did this on a crotch rocket and it costs SFA if you are doing the polishing. Or just buy  a new set of rims exactly how you like them.

Those quotes sounded high. For $1400 plus freight and GST you can buy a new set already done.
