Ended up getting a cheap set of 45 degree needle nose pliers and grinding the tips down. Worked a treat!!!

So um its hard to admit but in the end i had the pump plumbed sligyhtly wrong. I also had what I thought was the feed and scavange lines to the primary looped not plugged. So followed Houli's diagram and now she is running great (for now)!

Just waiting on belt drive to turn up and should be hitting the road soon.

Thanks heaps for all your help boys! Even though it was the parts fitters fault in the end and not the parts themselves.

Get a vent for the adjuster hole and the clutch cover hole or you`ll be snapping belts every couple of years, you need to get the heat out, ask Dave about cam bearings, his favourite, and from me, replace your lifter bearings.

Whats the best way to vent the primary efficiently without changing to venty derby and adjuster covers? I like my solid chrome ones as is and don't really want to change them.
