Ive a 99 fatboy and just relised i have a vacuum line off.

the line comes off a T piece beind the carby, one line go's to a small black box and one go's to the carb but i cant find where the 3rd line go's to, the hose is about 15cm long 

 

maybe someone could look at there bike to see where the lines go?

Ok,

The bike has a Pingel petcock and going off what ive just researched thats an aftermarket part, it also does not have a fitting for a vacuum line.

so going off what i can make out here maybe old mate i bought the bike off  had a drama with his stock petcock and threw  the Pingel job on there then has just left the vacuum line off the stock petcock hanging down. If my theory is correct the question is do i need to plug the stray line up or leave it as is?

Block it off with a suitable sized ball bearing. easy and cheap fix for stray hoses.

Block it up ya reckon?, righto no drama's.
