From memory with my old 06 dyna I used a peice of timber 1/4 by 4 inch long hardwood under the frame rail to get it square on the lift.

Or you can buy ($30 ish) little rubber mounts from Harley that clip onto the frame, so the bike sits higher on the lift.

Yeah piece of timber, ran under the frame rails is the go

there you go. Mine sits just in front of the stand spring and the back is good to go
