So bits and pieces are starting to dribble in. Reeeally waiting on tyres and brakes so I can start setting guard heights and stuff.

I did get my new box today. I did already have one but this was a bargain and has the later style main shaft

I also decided to dummy fit the motor, mainly due to impatience.

With any luck the tyres will get here before I head back to work. I am undecided on my tank at the moment. I have a peanut ready to go on and a set of old split tanks I'm thinking about cutting down into an old school split oil/fuel tank setup.

Your getting there John, I am a bit worried looking at the hose laying on the Front Tyre, Im guessing it is for a guide for the Front Fender, If it is your going to hert your self, Springers need 1-1/2" of clearance between the Fender and Tyre, Any less the the Front Fender acts like a Big Brake when you hit a bump in the road and the Bike will flip

Yep thanks Walka it didnt look right either when I had it on. Will definately be giving it a little extra height now that you've mentioned it!

Nothing too exciting unfortunately Walka, work has been keeping me away from the bike a bit. I've just been playing around with exhausts and getting everything on or off the frame as needed so I can strip it down and get the frame painted.

Been a while since I've given an update on the build so here's a few pics. The majority of the fabrication is complete now so I'll start breaking it down next R&R, tidy up some of my grubby welds and paint the frame before final assembly.

That is one sweet ride you have going there Brick ... what brand Springer is that ... is there much extension in them ... what about the frame , any rake in the head stem ... definitely looks heaps better with the tank sitting down over the frame rails .

    Tim .

    Cheers folks.
Tim, the Springer is a DNA from Walka , 2 inch under to take the big wheel. I forget the exact specs but the frame is standard rake also from Walka.
Also....that seat is not going on the final build.
