I ordered an s&s twin air cleaner for my fatboy & bugger me its for touring models & it seems that the spacer plates are different or the throttle body arrangements are different

yeah, probably partly my fault for not double checking but I assumed I would recieve the correct part considering the rest of the stuff I had come with it

So I may be stuck with it

Is there any way I can make it work to save the hassle of sending it back & waiting for another one?

hi Dan,
I have a a s& s twin air cleaner,& when i got mine it is actually made up of 2 kits-1 for the particular motor set up -ie cable ,drive by wire ,carb ,etc & 2 -the actual air cleaner set up .
They were about $250 a piece a few years ago ,so if you can't get the engine part of the kit replaced you haven't done all u r $$.
Depending where you are I may be able to help by looking at mine -07 duece ?

S&S makes a 1/4 inch spacer kit to suit the teardrop backing plate on the delphi body. I will find a link and post it
