Hi all, just thought I would throw the question out before I purchase CTEC. The VROD requires quite a high CCA to turn the bike over, so therefore is a trickle charger with a charging current of 0.8A enough?

I'm no expert, but why would it matter? It might take longer, but it should just keep charging until it reaches max (including cold crank amps) and goes into maintenance mode.

The key word here is "trickle" , yes it will be fine.
