Bought myself the siren module for my 09 custom, 

But where the hell does it fit?

Any useful help out there.

Which bit? One bit is usually under the front of the bike (the siren, speaker, battery backup) and the other box is under the seat if I remember rightly...

The alarm part just replaces the indicator module, i think i even found the plug for the siren.

I just can't find enough room for siren.

My 2012 has it before the rear wheel around the swing arm pivot

I've read a few posts about mounting near the swing arm pivot.
Also seen instructions for under the motor but I dont have the right bracket and the cables not long enough.
Hard to see where without seeing one fitted I guess.

Cable lenght and zip ties = where it goes.

 Howdy, not sure if you still need help. I checked my serivce manual and it has information (pictures etc) on install and removal of the unit.  I can scan these for you and send via PM rather than post here and get in trouble for copyright etc.

But it sounds like you don't have the bracket it mounts to in the location Iron mentioned.  Perhaps you could just zip tie it in place?

Thanks iron, but I found a service manual and can see where it goes. I must need the bracket to make it stable.

Teach me for buying second hand. If I had a bracket the cable would then be long enough to fit above the master cylinder.
