Would like opinions on what Baker transmission would suit street and the odd trip to the drags. The only options i see to suit 07 and newer Softail Standard is the DD7? Any response is appreciated.

Definitely don't need seven gears at the strip, lucky if ya use 4.
Easier to go chain drive and play with sprockets.
Maybe just look at updating the outer bearing plate ith a Baker.

Thanks. I bought a 2nd hand bike with 63000 k's on it. I don't think the standard gearbox will handle a 120R motor launching hard off the line. Anyone that knows a gearbox or set up that suits this motor, would be great.Thanks.

    Ya reckon??
I've been pushing 135hp very hard through my 07 box with no issues to date,(20,000 km in current form, 60,000+ km all up) just run a PB at the strip with it last week.
Redline heavy shockproof gear oil is my friend.
But hey, at the end of the day it's your boat that needs floating.
