As for government taxes Federal government collects 10% GST of the final price (duh) and whatever your state stamp duty and rego fees are.

Why do people think that businesses shouldn’t make a profit as that is why they are in business??

I walk into Harley Heaven and Harley Central and can appreciate what it costs to stay open, provide a service, pay for stock, labour, work cover, advertising, rent / loans etc, etc.

Only time I would wonder about profit margins is if I were buying the business.

Then again I might just be biased as my job is making sure that our 29 locations make a very good profit. I wouldn’t make a living if I didn’t

I asked then if I was to wait until the dollar rose would the bike get cheaper.
