Got the piglet out (Iron 883-stock except for some bling on the air intake and fuel cap) and set off towards Tharwa in the ACT on a day so crisp and clear that it felt like the first sip of a cold beer after a long days work. Opened up the beastlet and pulled up the hill towards Cooma, turning left towards Tharwa. Who says hogs don't do corners-the fresh scrapes on my pegs are evidence otherwise. Didn't stop at Tharwa- the shop sells fuck all and I wasn't buying any of that today. Up the windy feisty road towards the deep space tracking centre . Blam blam blam three filth bikes hooning in the opposite direction. Who days the boys in blue don't feel normal human emotions. Occasionally. Coffee at Tidbinbilla. Gormet food in the back of beyond. Go figure. Back on the bike-did you miss me baby? Yes she growls. Then disaster. A push bike race. What the fuck is lycra all about anyway? Slow bastards. Then at the new dam the god of motorbikes answers and they all disappear. Open up the hog down glorious flowing Tarmac unsullied by fuckwits and Sunday drivers. Meet the wife and dustbin lids at Questacon in the city. I hope this gets you thinking- don't confuse Canberra the place and the ACT with the pollies and hangers on that sully our great country.I'm not from here but I'm beginning to get the place. Ride on brothers and sisters. Peace out.

Hi Bro. Yeah the ACT gets too much bad press. Some nice little rides to be had without going too far! Questacon is great for the kids. :)
