Hello people its been recommended by my mechanic to replace  muffler on my cvo road glide with vance and hinds monster rounds .

The reason being its just had a engine upgrade and the current night sticks make it sound tinny, also should I replace the headers at the same time?

I have a CVO Street Glide with modified original headers (cat removed) and original CVO mufflers which in the near future I will modify with Fullsac 1.75 baffles. Easy to fit and a fraction of the price of new mufflers and I keep the original look which I like.

Hi there

Withe modified headers there's heaps less heat at your right ankle (roughly where the cat is) and it the engine is a little smoother and responsive. Fullsac make different baffles for the CVO stock mufflers. The most popular are the 1.75's and the 2.0's. About 15% louder than stock but with catless headers a deeper tone.

Yowie, i have replaced my complete system with the V & H headers, powerduals and monster rounds,, could not be happier,
had bike put on dyno at Robbo,s Harley in Canberra, very good results
bike performs very well, runs a lot cooler and also has a beautiful rich rumble, bit like an old hot rod

I have Monster Rounds and I love them. I have the original headers with the cat still in there, but the sound they make is awesome!
Does anyone in Sydney know who could cut out the cat and re weld the pipes?

I have Replaced my system on my Roadking with V&H true duals & Rinehart Racing 4" slip ons & couldn`t be happier

running M/ rounds on my road king……love it
