G'day all.

Does anyone know where I can buy an aftermarket Hub for my 2009 softail front wheel. It's the 21" 2.15 profile rim that comes standard on the Night Train. I have googled everything I can think of, but no luck.

All the chrome plating has cracked and peeled off and it is in very poor shape for a 3 year old wheel.

The spokes are now completely rusted so I want to respoke with stainless and get a new hub. Not keen on OEM.

any suggestions are appreciated.

Gidday Hooky is the front wheel your talking about the same as the 2008 FXSTC one , the real smooth rim type ... as i will have one for sale at a pretty cheap price hopefully soon as i am going to be putting on a 21 x 3.5 Fat Spoke wheel as soon as Walka gets some new stock in .

If of course the profile wheel is the type that steps up like the good old rims then disregard my inquirey .

Hi again Hooky ... the wheel i will have for sale will be $500 ... complete wheel and tyre with only 1800 klm`s on it so far ... should be a straight drop out your rusted wheel , slot in this one ... i did notice you say you werent keen on OEM gear which this is of course but it might be a way to go .

As i said it would only be after i get my wheels from Walka down there in Victoria so there may be a few more K`s on the tyre and it also may be to long for you to wait but just a idear for you to think about .

You might want to check out his Fat spoke wheels as the spokes are made of polihed stainless steel so rusting shoudnt be a issue ... anyhow just a couple of idears for you to mull over .
