Has anyone tested the Nightrider XiED air fuel ratio plug in ??? Simple plug in adapters for the O2 sensors lowers the voltage back to the ECM and raises the AFR from 14.7 to 13.8, cooler running, smoother ride, more responsive. Have only had a short test run after fitting these to the 08 Night Train, bloody rain, but the differance seem unbelievable.......

    Hi Wayne,

do a quick search on them and Fuelshot in the threads. A few guys have used them with mixed results some good some ok. They are designed to operate in the closed loop configuration of the bike. This essentially means normal cruise mode. when you go into open loop (power/ acceleration etc), the 02 sensors are bypassed and you are running the setup that is in the ECM. This will cause lean conditions if you have air cleaner and exhaust mods.

Others have used them and can comment with more experience with them.

    cheers

    Mick

I'm just after a richer mixture and more air, I've fitted a K&N high flow air filter, the XiED's and dissabled the exhaust flap will go for a good ride while it s not raining and see how it goes. This is my first FI Twin and im just getting used to the gadgetry on them.

Hey Fatboy just got home and the Night Train is running fantastic , no codes and running a lot cooler in traffic, seems to be using less fuel as well.
