Well here you go - I live in the freezin' North East of England. Been riding bikes since I was 17 (forty years ago now!).

About 6 years ago I took the plunge and bought a '01 FXDX-T. Really like it after modding it a bit. Some of you will be pleased to know that to me adding chrome doesn't really count.

So I have put on a 95" kit, Mikuni HSR 42, Andrews 37 cam, Street Ported heads from Dewey, adj. pushrods and a Supertrapp 2:1. Latest mod is a SE Hybrid Camplate and oil pump to help with the tensioner woes.

Handling wise I have ditched the handlebar fairing and added lower 883R bars, progressive front springs, SE forkbrace and Hagon Nitro shocks. Best thing for handling was a Tru-Track Dyna kit.

That's about it - wish I could afford to do a bit more engine work but there you go.

to the forums Pete, I'd be getting a hot pressure washer for cleaning your Bike, that's if you want her to last, with the amount of salt you guys put on your roads She'll get rusty really fast........
