Lee rang me tonight to make sure I got home ok... We saw him at the shell this morning when he was heading out. And about time you became the real deal.... Mate thanks for yesterday showing us around. It was a great trip...
Great ride guys,
Other than the springer with minor ellectrical issues, one flat rear and a TV that kept changing channel, it couldn't get better.
Good number of bikes, great places and views, and a few new mates. Cheers all.
NO PARKING??
What a view
Wind farm in the distance
Just one blade.....huge.
Thanks AJ...anytime
catch ya next time
Thanks to all that made it a great weekend. I think we had 4 jap bikes and 15 HDs for the ride to Silverton.
Met a few mexicans and a couple of locals, Thanks to Lee and Peter (welcome to the forum) for showing us around.
All bullshit aside, (and there was plenty) the Mt Gay went down nicely. 2 pub lunches without any lunch available. a TV that had "power" issues and Action's loudest toilet break are just a few of the memories.
I will try to load some photos up. Cheers GT
A good looking bunch
Interceptor's love child outside Silverton Hotel
I want one of these on my shed
The vermin have inherited the earth? must have known we were coming!
must have been the cleaners day off
and for Davhutch, closest we came to a art gallery was inside The Palace Hotel
Thanks to everyone especially Tim, for organizing such a great weekend. I highly recommend The Grand Guest House to anyone traveling to Broken Hill, thanks Mandy for your great hospitality. Lots of fun and laughs were had, even being the butt of the tv remote prank was pretty funny, thanks Jackson, the road side piss stop was a hoot too. To every one I met for the first time, you guys were great. I hope to meet up with you all again in the future. I'm glad I brought my tubeless tyre repair kit with me, as it got Micks' Fatboy back on the road, when no bike shop was willing to help. That's what mates are for Mick. Thanks Nomada for the use of your Allan keys to tighten my pegs. Until next time guys, stay safe, and hope to see you all again soon.
Regards Ash.
I was up Broken Hill / Silverton way about 7 weeks ago. The wilderness has its own uniquie beauty. Thanks for the photos.
If anyone is interested, Mad Max is on channel 99 tonight.
