After all the bullshit Frasers and a lot of the other Sydney dealers have said to a lot of my mates about not selling or servicing imports what do I see today at their Summer End Bike Day Sale - A HARLEY IMPORT FOR SALE.

Asked the salesman if they would now service imports and he basically ignored me and walked away.

Looks like they have finally seen the light about how much business they are losing.

HH at Dandenong have been selling grey imports for ages. Doesn't make any difference to me personally, but intersting to see the price difference between the "greys", & the aussie imports. You know, the ones where the Vin # starts with 5. Me thinks they have been getting the best of both worlds for some time.

 I'd say that if they sold it they may have legal satutory obligation to service it. As such then it becomes more interesting if they will/must service one they sell what's the difference to one they didn't sell other than the profit on the sale?

if they are selling imports let us buy our parts from o/s dealers again.

Exactly fat`s , there goes their HD Oz market speal about having to pay/charge so much for bikes and accessories , still US$1.02 or 3 for the AUD dollar isn`t it ?

I'll keep an eye on the WA Frasers situation and post up what I see.

They had refused to code an new alarm fob for my "grey import" 2008 CVO Springer "as it was an import".

That was 6 weeks ago or maybe a wee bit longer.

I didn't complain to them at the time as I knew that was the official Australia wide Frasers policy.

The " other mob" in Perth did do it , but they didn't ask if it was an import and I didn't broadcast it !!

Maybe that's how it will have to be , " don't ask , don't tell "
