     Gday guys,

this might be a silly question, but Im here to learn. Im looking at a 1200 or 1250 kit for an 04 sprtster. If i do this, does this make the 47000 km on the clock neglibable? I mean, its all in good running order anyway, but how newer for want of a better description does this make the bike?

If you're looking at a 1250 kit now is a good time, Hammer Performance have their small fin kits on sale for $599. 86-03 but will fit the 04+ sportys, I've got one on my 2010. A 1250 with stock 883 heads & some N4/497 cams & a good tune would be a fun bike.

    From everything I've read/heard, 47km on a bottom end is f-all.

    Slap.

Thanks guys. Definately food for thought. Ive got all the covers etc pulled off, and have my arm in a sling for several weeks, so no riding. I understamd the value thing, an 04 and all. The only thng is, as I own it, 2 to 3 $k max, i reckon its worth a look instead of going through the whole selling, and buying again, it will cost another 5 or 6 to get into a nightser after getting 6 or 7 for mine, and going trough all the crap trying to sell it. Wll keep you posted....cheers
