    rkc,
Last week here in Adelaide weather has been magic, it's starting to get pretty hot here now, 35 today and high 30's next few days, so I've been soaking it up on the bike. Even though I only ride to work about 12 km's each way it's still worth it. I've also been doing the odd run at lunch time as well.

I'm with ya. I spend time away from home and the bike, so when I get home its good to go for a ride then I take the bike out.

I feel a similar way. I remember riding through a bad storm in Mandurah,WA over the long bridge there, when you go over to Halls Head. The wind was howling and the lighting was lashing I am remember speeding up and soaking it all up. Its a was a total buzz taking the risk.

I use my Springer as the primary vehicle I ride everywhere on it, to work, to the shops on runs etc. It's pretty much part of me now.

Mate, I am with you on that one. For me a day without riding is a lost day.

I have 25 km to work but many times i go a long way (100+), particularly when I'm on arvos.

Don't like riding in rain though. Cold is OK but no rain please

I dont get to ride to often atm but when I do its on a weekend. Its the feeling of solitude and the enjoyment of having ghe wind in my faceand the environment around em with out having a steel box between us.

I suffer from Depression due to chronic pain from previous accidents and have found that the ride is far better than any medication. I have withdrawls if I dont get out and even a half hour ride around the local coastline is just enouhg top take the edge off.

Rain hail or shine I dont have anyissues but the strong gales and thunderstorms I try to steer clear of

What does it mean? It feels the most like being myself that I feel all week. As much as my work provides a good lifestyle, I never feel happy, relaxed and myself while there. On my bike I do. The only other time I feel that is when I'm with my animals or out walking through the bush. And riding with my hubby alongside is the best "couples therapy" imaginable.
