Went to take the bike out this arvo, out the driiveway, around the corner, 2nd to 3rd no go!!!! Did an engine oil change last weekend, that is the only tthing that I have touched recently.

The bike go's into 1st, neutral & 2nd easliy, but no further, gear lever seems to have extra movement, adjusted the clutch a few months ago, bike has been running fine, up untill today!

Anybody else had this problem? Currently looking on google for this problem, open to sugestions.

 Consistantly & easily goes into 1,2, nuetral, cant see down to linkage on gearbox end, been reading up online it might be the shifter return spring broken or bent.

All fixed! Must have washed last bit of grease out of gear lever bush the other night when I degreased it after the oil change, cleaned, light sand & regrease, all sweet.

This happened to my 07 fatboy. same thing and had to grease the bush on the shifter. To dry and gets stiff. I think at the time it was only about two years old. Obviously my servicing dealer didn't do the job right, or at all.
