Quick couple of questions. What is the standard shock length for a 2007 Wideglide? I've been told conflicting info that its 12 inches and others say 12.5 inches, which is it? Want to replace what's on the bike and I presume it's still the standard shocks, they just bottom out way to easy.  Secondly, which brand? Looked through here and there's not many positives for progressives and its a bit indecisive between Ikon and YSS, any other brands I should be looking at other than those listed and Ohlins? I don't want to lower it as the pipes drag as it is on the hills up here.

Last question, what's the thoughts on lengthening the front forks 2 to 4 inches but keeping standard rake? Wouldn't mind a little more clearance at the front to lift the pipes up a bit to help stop dragging (VH 2 into 1). Would it cause to much grief with handling?

If you want to crucify me for not using the search engine properly, go ahead but I'll be stuffed if I can filter through it all, easier just to ask.
