Lithgow Fathers' Day Run - Ride Report

Well it was such a HUGE turnout that we decided, for safety's sake, to ride in pairs. Somehow I got stuck with Toxic.

We took off from M4 Maccas at such a pace that, after only a short time, we couldn't see any of the others. Toxic, mostly dressed in BLACK, decided to stop in BLACKheath for fish and chips to let the others catch up.

Even after we'd finished, the others still hadn't caught up, so we headed on to Lithgow. Toxic's BLACK fuelpak, BLACK pipes, and new BLACK packrack caused him to use so much fuel that by Lithgow his fuel account was no longer in the BLACK.

About the only thing BLACK on the Road King were the tyres.

We got a good view of Sydney with no BLACK clouds, unlike yesterday.

And just to finish off we spent some time admiring the BLACK aircleaner cover.

    Great day. Thanks Toxic.

    hahahahaha LOL

Gonzo old m8 you write the best trip reports.

Yes it was a nice ride, not much traffic to bother us, the best fish & chips in the mountains & plenty of bird life to finish the chips.

The nightster ran well but I have to do something about the bloody ride, coming across the Bells Line Rd saw me leave the seat on more than one occasion & a bigger fuel tank is definitely on the cards.

Only drama I had was after we split up Gonzo, while coming through the Galston gorge & cock in a car reversed into me at a hairpin turn,  asshole had no clue wot so ever.  Lucky only me pride was hurt, stalled the bike when he hit the front tire causing me to lurch to the right.  she got out of the passengers side only to hear me giving em a serve,   jumped back in & smoked the tires as they left, the bloke behind me made sure I was OK,  once I had the bike balanced & started I took off after em, they had stopped & were on the phone when I pulled up, he apologies saying they had never been on the road before, I suggested they never come back & departed. Arrived home about 20 past 4.

All in all a good day out, sorry for you guy's who couldn't make it, but there is bound to be plenty more trips, Summer is just around the bend

Hey Toxic, there's NO WAY they couldn't have known you were behind them. Not with THOSE pipes!! They weren't driving a Volvo, were they??

Lucky there was no permanent harm done.
