I have SE 103 street stage 4 kit with 259E cams, they pull hard from 3000rpm and up. I have just ordered a set of T man 625 cmas, as they pull from 2200-2400 and upwards. SE259E cams are good, I just want the torque coming on lower in the rev range.

Bike pulls well from 2000 rpm, not a slug by any means, ( in first 3 gears) really feel it at 3000rpm. I find in 4-6, really need to be around 28000rpm - 3000rpm, otherwise bike doesn't really like it, valve/train noiser and bike feels if it is struggling.

Could the Struggle be tuned out or doesn't require a bump in compression/ head work to sort it.

The stage 4 kit come at 10.5 -1 compression. changing V&H staggered long shots to V&H pro pipe and the Tman 625 cams. Torque should be lower and why I want it more. Also taking SE110 heads off and getting 96" stocks ported, valves and springs done. Should come on strong all way through, hopefully, will see next month, when parts arrive and get installed. Nothing wrong with the SE259E cams, just trying something else and see how it turns out.
