    Well shes no harley.

She is i believe a 1948 royal enfield RE125 or nick name the flying flea. the early 1940 models were built tio be chucked out of planes during world war 2 and used on the ground by the troops. After the war they sold them to the general public and converted the left over military one for this purpose also. Gunna have some fun restoring it. not many around.

if anyone know of parts for these things let me know. Shes missing some bits like the gear lever, tool box, correct front forks etc.

    Cheers

May not be a Harley but at least it seems to have a "Springer" type from end. Good luck with the resto.

Yeah springer front but original is a rubber band set up. The design was copied in the 40s by many countries. The closed in girder front end with springer set up looks like a German set up. Better but not original. The rest is good. Missing some minor stuff but its matching numbers which is a plus.
Still deciding my direction. Mechanical resto and Original parts only or full ground up job. Probably not a big $$$ thing but just depends on what I want as a finished product. I'm confident I can get out of it either way for under a $1000.
    Should be fun.
