    howdy all,

I'll be doing the S&S 106 big bore kit i have sitting in my workshop and cams (probably S&S 583 easy starts) some time in the next few months.

So I was wondering if there is someone out there willing to loan (or hire if they want) inner cam bearing puller / installer when I am ready?

Bike is 2008 Street Bob, 96 TC.

PM me if you would rather reply that way.

    Cheers !!

Hey Daggs...there was a post on here a while back from a fella that had bought one and said he would hire it out if someone needed one...Can't recall who it was but I will keep looking...Surely someone has one that they could lend you...

    Cheers...Sparra

Cheers Sparra, I'm not ready for maybe another month, just thought I would start asking around.
Not a big deal I'll buy one if I have to

Sorry mate, I havent got one, but i just used a blind bearing puller that i got on fleabay. Install was a case of bearings in the freezer and use the old bearing to drift it back in. Surprised me how easy it was.
If all else fails, you can get them on ebay for about $90 landed.
    Hope this helps.

Didn't Hmmm2 do a cam change not so long ago... I am pretty sure he was chasing a setup as well and got it sorted.

Can't help with that tool, but if you need a puller, this guy would be worth a look - http://www.georges-garage.com/tc_engine_2.htm

I recently got a steering head bearing tool from there, much cheaper (even with delivery to my door) and only took 8 days over the Christmas period.
