I've just started getting into the eBay action (bloody late in the peice or what!?) and looking for more sites here & especially overseas for H.D gear.

    • Had any GOOD experiences??
    • What sites do you recommend and have you traded with them??

I'm sure this has been covered before but let's get some updates & success stories!

I ordered a hypercharger from a mob in the States.
No sign of it for weeks, then a primary casing arrives

I ring the company to tell them of their fuck up. They promise to send another hypercharger and to keep the primary case.

A couple of weeks later, BOTH of the hyperchargers arrive within a day of each other.

Another call to the States and they say to keep the extra hypercharger as they had claimed insurance on the loss.

So, I sold the extra hypercharger and primary on ebay, fitted the other hypercharger to the bike and was left with more money than what the original purchase cost me

That was years ago and I can't remember the name of the company............

I have just used this mob for a couple of parts. The parts came in 7 days with no problems.
They have a very good catalog buried somewhere in the site that you can download........just need to keep an eye on the credit card balance.

I've just got a black hypercharger from Realhog.com.

Cost $360 including freight and this also included the upgraded breather kit, the parts arrived within 7 days.

I'd use them for small parts, they quoted over $400 freight for a supertrapp 2:1 exhaust.

I've bought from Dean at cheapbikeparts.com.au (forum sponsor) and had great service.

From the US I've been getting gear through M&M cycles and Mark is always quick to answer any questions. Great service, but did take a bit of time to get my last order here. Some of the bits were on backorder from HD.

Ordered some Arlen Ness 3" forward control extensions a few days ago from Rob's Cycle Supply on the US ebay site. USPS tracking reckons it's just left the US so looks like pretty quick shipping from them.

I want to get some pipes (will probably go V&H) but still not sure what sort to get. I was gonna go big radius but from what I've read they're pretty loud so I might go for big shots or something. Quote from M&M on the big radius was US$727 delivered (US$170 freight)... might have to hunt around for a better deal.

I can vouch for Rob's Cycle supplies on ebay, have been buying from them for over 6 months. Have bought footpegs, levers, smoked lenses, chrome handlebar brackets, Ness mirrors, etc. its not factory HD stuff, but quality of most products has been OK. Everything arrives well packed and in about 5-6 days. Only one cock up and it was in my favour - he sent two chrome brake levers in one order, and when I asked how to send it back, he said to keep it. I'm saving for a V&H exhaust which he has listed for about $500 AUD - local dealer wants 3 x that. Even though the Aussie peso has hit record lows recently, the US prices are still way better than at my local HD stealer.

.. also 2Orange Harleys on ebay (they have lots of Sportster stuff).

    cheers

At Chicago Harley you get something like a 20% discount off their prices just for signing up for a free account on their site. Great for genuine HD stuff, all you need is the part number. About half the price and half the time of ordering through local dealers.

Robs Cycle Supply on Ebay are great! and for more gear go to JPcycles.com, I've been using them for years, all ya gear arrives and if there is ever a fug up, just let em know (nicely that is) and they
    sort it out quick.
They have a good Tech site aswell.
Oh yeah get the bloody 'Gold Card' and ya save 10-20% for the year.

fark some site are hard to use eh!?
    Chicago looks pretty easy.

    That Jacket sounds good Calabos

Today I bought some stuff locally, might go back there for pegs on the weekend. Overpriced I know but I'm too traditional - I need to touch and see it before I can make my impulse purchase!! haha

FYI from other post today.... >>>>>>>>>>>>

Nothing exciting boys, just thought I'd mention I popped into the new MCA store today, deadset must be at least 10 times the size of previous.
Had some good stuff for Harley's, no genuine H.D stuff but heaps of goodies.

It's on Parramatta road in Auburn, if heading towards city CBD its on the left just before the speed camera's. Next door to 2nd's world.

I just grabbed a set of smoked indicator lenses with orange globes ($55.95) and the clear plastic rego label tube ($24.95). Yes I know I could of got cheaper ebay etc, but these are two things I could'nt stand anymore!

I found their site really hard to use, the "mom & pop" M&M site.

20mins later - Actually your right, it's pretty good, just had some probs with part numbers format I think.
    Prices are good. CHEERS!

OK..... 6 hours later!! Came up with a pretty good shopping list, which I'll bore you with below. Sent off a mail to Mark @ M&M as he says to ask for shipping costs, also asked him if he can do a bit of a package price for all that crap below. We'll see what he comes back with.

Mate, I might give M&M the work just on this one, before you mentioned Zanotti's I had already asked em' some questions and they've come back with alot of good info and reduced the quote by another $32.00 U.S. as well.

For freight they've quoted $126.00, that's bearable to me no worries.

ALSO, I've finally found be induction/filter kit I want. IT'S FARKING SICK!
I can get it landed here direct from manufacturer (Wimmer) for $800 which is alot I know but MCA with the filters I want etc quoted me double that!
