We often find a motel close by and stay the night (2 hour ride home) As far as drinking during the ride, just be sensible, I have a beer at the first pub a coke at the second, a beer at the third, depends on how long between stops. This is often a big ride so keep your wits about you.

This clown was watching all the bikes instead of the road

Good Friday run a few years ago. And this is the middle of the pack, (yes there are as many bikes to the left of this shot) Kinglake a few years ago. Someone said 800 bikes.

I also went on this run, this is to vic police instead of wasting our tax payer dollars, nothing illegal happens on these runs ,what you vic police force should do is some real police work ,leave us bike riders alone ,I mean that many police to fine someone cause his helmet didn't meet au standard is that really police work ,and that cop who rode like a fuck wit he sat behind inexperienced riders through all those winding turns and then to over take on bends over double white lines and also sat 3 wide next to two other riders u were the biggest idiot I saw that day

The Nazi Police State was to ensure that everybody did as they were told - or paid the price. Hitler’s police state worked on the rule that if you said nothing, no harm, could come to you. If you had doubts about the way the country was going, you kept them to yourself - or paid the price.
    Sounds familiar??

the police were allowed to arrest people on suspicion that they were about to do wrong. This gave the police huge powers. All local police units had to draw up a list of people in their locality who might be suspected of being "Enemies of the State". This list was given to the Gestapo - the Secret Police. - USA Patriot Act reads practically the same!

Scary, but here and in the USA we are heading down this same way.
They watch every move people make, CCTV in every centimetre of our space, the control our lives and know everything about us.

George Orwell wrote 1984 (Big Brother) book in the 50's, if you read it now, you would swear it was written today!
