What Exhaust? yet again

Yes I know it's been done a hundred times before.

    WHAT PIPE?

About the only dyno guy around worth going to in my area has given me a slight problem to resolve before I take the bike in.

He sticks the gas analyser sniffer up the pipe to about where the 02 sensors are for his sampling. In order to do that I need a clear path from the muffler open end.

I had been thinking of changing my pipes to Supertrapp Supermeg  for tunability but now don't really know what to go with as it would need to go on the dyno with no end cap and if not already the baffle will need to be drilled. Kind of thinking that will stuff my idea of best performance at a given sound level.

I also have not been able to find any one with a dyna that has these pipes fitted.
Any one out there with them that can shine some light on the open end cap V's closed effects on performance and sound and do they have a hole right through the guts of the baffle? Wouldn't mind a few pics side on to see just how long these pipes are.
The supertrapp site isn't much help.

Currently have the V&H big radius 2:1 and in order to get the volume under control I have had to close it down a fair bit. That's not going to work with the new build.

I want to stay with 2:1 and there are lots of them out there but keeping the noise at the lowest level for the best performance is what I am trying to achieve, hence the supertrapp. No need to be pissing off people around home any more than I need to. If I can get it to it's peak performance and it is to loud then I can decide if I need to sacrifice some to quieten it down a little.

    Any other suggestions or thoughts?

If you find the Big radius 2-1 too loud, you will want to run the closed endcap on the 'trapp.
Just buy an extra endcap, and drill a hole big enough to fit the sniffer for tuning.

Can't ypu drill & weld a Bung up near 02 sensor? put a sensor in to read AFR? or what speedster said but i think a sensor gets a faster reading than the old sniffer up pipe..

    both ideas are good.
there would be fuck all difference between a drilled end cap with the sniffer in it and a new cap. so changing cap after should have little effect on the tune.

Krash good idea but not sure where I could put them and still get at them but definitely food for thought. I could make them 18mm bungs.

What I haven't got my head around yet is if the sniffer isn't used how are the dyno guys sampling the exhaust
