    Yeah Cartoon.
People should be careful when they categorise.
I have nothing against poofs, just dont like being labled in that category.
    Would look funny though hehe.

People who cant handle jokes should not be on the internet, especially on a forum!

I know it's been said before but you are one lucky dude.

I can loose a ford stationwagon under the nose of my Mack, and cant see shit in my left front corner.

Buy a ticket in the next lotto.

Shit man, glad to hear you cam out of that one still kicking.

I was meaning to make a post today actually regarding lane splitting.

Last couple weeks in Adelaide I've noticed during my commute a lot of motorcyclists splitting up the left lane (aka bike lane), which I thought was pretty unusual. I'm used to seeing scooter riders do it, but that's hardly surprising.

I'll admit I've been mighty tempted to do it, middle lane these days seems to consist of soccer mums with giant 4WDS blocking everything into oblivion, or trying to change lanes in stopped traffic.

But I figured that seeing as lane splitting is technically illegal, I might as well take the 'ignored/accepted?' route and just use the middle. Though usually that only means jumping a few car lengths at time (better than nothing).

    Thoughts/opinions anyone?

Man thats 100% the truck driver to blame! (I would have insisted the cops come and drug test the driver)

I would not think lane splitting had anything to do with it as you had already completed that move and I presume were sitting at the lights waiting for them to turn green.

You need louder pipes if he did not hear you...lol...they sure as hell know when im sitting next to them.

Yeah ya can`t exactly blame the jigga really , if ya put yaself in a dangerous position and are caught out , he is very lucky indeed ?
He will never do that again , or will be a bit more wary next time i reckon hey !
Deffinately character building and a learning curve for sure !

Holy shit! Glad you're ok, could have been much worse. Unfortunately truck drivers cannot see anything on their left front corner. Luckily bike parts can be replaced, lives can't, a big lesson learned mate.

You should always pull out infront of any vehicle, I do it all the time. bike is usually well over white line at the lights, when splitting, for this reason.

I dont think you would have much leg left if it had been caught between the truck bumper and ya bike.
