    Hi All,

I thought I could save some money buying tyres from the states, but most places want around $160 to fit a pair of tyres, does anyone have any places they have used that is a bit more reasonably priced by any chance ...... I live West Meadows/Glenroy area.

    Thanks for your input

There is a chap next the Peter Stevens in Ringwood who is good to deal with. I presume your removing the wheels etc.

remove the wheel from your bike yourself and take it somewhere to get the tyre changed on the rim.

If you take it somewhere where they don't sell bike tyres they should do it very cheap (free by my experiences) as they aren't missing out on a sale anyway.

    Hi M8,

I paid $365 delivered for a set of Michelin Commander 2 tyres, buying just the tyres in OZ the cheapest price was going to set me back $580 though ebay can have some good prices as well at times, I have now found someone else to fit them for $100, but if you are able to fit them yourself you will save eh..... I got my tyres from Jake Wilson in the USA and had them 5 days after order.
