Broken head fins - what to do???

Discovered a broken fin on the front head of the sporty.

I'm sure it has not/ wont affect the engine but for the life of me I cant stop starring at the damn thing.

Is there any way to repair it without removing the head?

If I have to remove the head to have a replacement welded on, can someone recommend someone up here in brissie? Might be a good idea to use the opportunity to  remove the heads and jugs and redo the top end. The old girl has 53k on the clock.

    Any advise welcome

    Cheers

If its not too large a break you could rebuild one out of JB Weld perhaps. It can handle the heat and can be done without removing the heads or having to Aluminium weld them up.

Worth a try as its cheap and may actually work.

if its not buring oil or leaking oil worry about it when you freshen it up and stop looking at it
