As per the title, I've got myself a TSSM/HFSM from eBay for my 2009 Night Rod and I'm trying to install it on the bike before going to the dealer for the marrying of the FOBs to the module...I managed to get myself an EDM and had a skim through, found a couple of extra things I need to try, but still having no luck so far. What I'm trying to do here is simply plug the new security module into the bike and have it married to it (performing the 30minute procedure) before going to the dealer to get my FOBs done. I disconnect the battery and change over the TSM to my HSFM (buttonless FOB, which it should be noted at this stage the FOB has not been married to the HSFM with the digital tech). Reconnect the battery and I have the security light on the speedo from the start. I then try and perform the actuation steps, but after I have pressed the left indicator button twice, the bike simply goes into a session of flashing LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT-LEFT-RIGHT and then does it again, for about 10 cycles. I think this is the actual alarm system going off (I didn't purchase the siren (well not yet) so I have no sound to verify) The starter is cut, I cannot do anything with the bike. I've tried the password learn sequence as well, but once again the bike simply alternates the indicators, I cannot try and start the bike, and after about 10 seconds the security light turns off and then blinks at me, while the indicators flash LEFT-RIGHT for the cycle. I'm not sure if there are other steps I should be following with this, but I can't seem to do any of the actuation of password steps. I'm thinking I may simply have to book in with the dealer and have them perform the full install of the HSFM and the FOB marrying, but I would like to have the HSFM in and on the bike, and just get the FOBs married by the dealer. I will read the EDM I have more, and see if I can come up with anything, but does anyone have any advice for my current situation? Greatly appreciate any help
