What part of the country are you ?
My opinion is the 20w60 Penrite would be fine, and I have used it in a 1200 Buell, and a TC.

D'racer, would you say the Enduro 25w70 would be a bit on the thick side for cooler climates ?

Penrite HPR Diesel 20w - 60w was recommended to me by local harley/trumpy workshop for my 2009 FXST.        I live up north though.

20w-60 diesel is perfect for use in evo and twin cams provided you only want them to last to in excess of 200.000 klms trouble free.............it's a long term marriage made in heaven

T1, I've run Penrite in all sorts of bikes/cars for years. I normally use HPR 10w50 gas semi Syn' in the twin Cam and the KTM 950.
It's easier to find out in the country, and a side benefit it is cheaper.
I'm sure HD oil is perfectly fine, but I've never used it, so can't compare.
