Here's mine as it sites currently. I've added a few cosmetic touches since I got it, mostly just getting rid of a few bits of chrome and the excessive amount of Willie G skulls the previous owner put all over it. Otherwise, it's Stage 3 with SE259E cams and what I believe to be a canned map (didn't get the race tuner with it). There's a few more cosmetic things I want to do, get it properly tuned, and then I really need to settle down a bit.

New to me 2009 CVO, taken in the shed last night, with the lights out.
    Sure is a bling thing!

Jeeze mate she’s had a bit of work done, CNC heads ain’t stock. Do you know what’s been done, cams etc?

Err, they're not actually CNC Ported heads. Actually a bit better than that, it's just to throw others off the scent.
Oh yes, there's a poultice of work been done. That work and the parts used (to me) was the attraction of the purchase.
The list of stuff is comprehensive and all top shelf. It's a sleeper.

Have to break out the shades to ride it in daylight, the reflection off the chrome everywhere is blinding.

There was a lot of money spent before the PO lost interest and parked it in a corner, until my purchase.

Jeeze thanks Steve, lol, never thought of it that way, now it definitely has to go, or maybe fit a tap. :) cheers

Haven’t removed it so far as the bracket runs through the front engine mount, so it’s a bit of work.

Quoting Big Steve on 15 Nov 2018 08:09 PM

    Hehehe sorry ;)

Does it share the same mounting bracket as the HD chin spoiler?

Hi Steve, it's a similar principle, same engine mount bolts but it comprises two brackets, the main bracket being a winged thing that curves under the engine mount so from how it looks I don't reckon I can undo one bolt, rotate the mount like you would with a Chin spoiler, then replace the bolt and undo the other.

I'm compiling a few other changes so I'll do em together. Cheers

Very bloody nice, you bastard. There's 5 grand worth of wheels, alone.
Watch out for leaving the seat out in rain.  I found that Alcantara fake suede stuff isn't water proof, at least on mine
Had it parked outside one night on a run, pissed down all night and while it looked ok, the whole seat was a sponge.
    Hate having a soggy bottom.

Suffering from the same glare issue, I got in touch with Matt at Speedo Angels in the UK.  They make matt finish speedo lens covers.
While they have them for our bikes, they've not put them on their web site as he reckons they don't work well with dial instruments, more for LCD etc.
They will send is you ask for them.

That’s an awesome looking machine, bud. The paint REALLY pops against all the chrome and the Bobcat pipes are a great match.

Yes the yanks seem to be happy with the OEM bigger M/C We shall see. The theory for the twin lines is more fluid. I have a set of Galfer Wave rotors that should do the trick.

    Like the brakes Big Steve.
Just completed a similar conversion. Yours even look like the Suzuki GSXR Brembos.
Found they were the cheapest and easiest to find. I used Speed Merchant brackets, yours are definitely fancier ;-)

Stayed with the stock M/C, the sizing is pretty close to the Suzuki. Ditto the 11 1/2" disc rotors.

There is another way to do a stealth conversion using stock HD parts, it requires changing disc rotors. I did it on a Dyna Lowrider S last year, very effective.
Seeing as this bling thing has fancy rotors; Brembo!

    Nice one
Yes well spotted on the GSXR750 Brembos.

I almost bought new monoblocs then a cheap set popped up on ebay in Italy so I jumped on them.

    My only concerns are:
    - Fitment might be a bit close for my 16" wheel. As you cahn see my mounts don't keep the calipers as close to the forks as the speed merch jobs do.
    - I'll like the improved braking performance on my 2010 so much I'll want to do the upgrade on my 2014 (and not sure what complexities are added because of ABS)

I'm all for bling when its functional.

    Big Steve,
Your swish brackets are for the 11 1/2" discs, or did you opt for the 13" disc variety? 13's might be tight on the 16". My glitter guts wheels are 18", plenty of room.
The improvement in braking is really in feel. Not as mushy as the originals.
Stopping power similar to original without reefing on the lever as hard.
ABS is catered for by Goodridge lines. Not as fancy as the Venhill fittings. Phone John Stanmas in QLD 07 5447 741. Yeah, that's a plug.

Correct I have mounts for 11.5s (It'll be close but i'm confident/hopefull) If not then I'll just have to go 18" Rim.
The hesitance for doing the 14 as well is that it has all magnum shielding brake lines/splitter box etc.

    Aren't the stock Rotors 11.8" on the Fatbob's ?
Looking at the radial mounting blocks, Fatslim's mount puts the caliper much closer to the wheel center than your's Big Steve ?
Just by eye, if Fatslim is using an 11.8" rotor,  it doesn't look like the diameter will be big enough ?
