Thx. Sorry my bad .. meant the panniers. But the battery box bag is cool also. The faux-alloy trim on the factory cover needs covering up - or a chrome metal one like the widegilde. Factory one looks cheap.

Disregard. Just saw the pannier frame in the last pic.

Samson powerflow III. Mine got 109/108 with the 2" baffle should've put the 2 1/2" baffle in it for more donkeys but it's got a real nice note and can pull up next to a copper without worrying too much(about noise). Tim's got the chrome version just up above.

That'll be off soon anyhow when the new motor goes in.

Oh yeah the black coating isn't the best quality or I just do a shit job of caring.

How do rate the 2-1 over the 2-2 tim?

    Jayman6,

From memory, I asked Harry the same question about a year ago.  I really like them.  I'm running the standard 2 "baffle the same as Harry, and while the note is differnt than a 2 - 2, I really like the sound and it isn't noisy until you give it some stick.  Over the years I have tried 4 or 5 diferrnt types of slip ons with the standard headers, as well as different baffles in these.  I've also tried a few differnt 2-2 full systems, and always had problems with how they ran, even with the powervision fitted and a custom tune done.

I put the Samson on it and didn't do an autotune and it ran heaps better with no popping on the overrun and much smoother.  Its even better after an autotune.  Its a bit of a shit to fit, as it is a fully welded one piece system, but has good ground clearance, is short enough to get the back axle out without removing it, and easy to clean.  I would buy another one if I got another bike.

    Cheers

    Tim

I'm not real sure what I'm doing with that one yet sparra. If the neighbours dog doesn't shut up I'll take it off and beat the bastard to death with it. Just joking.

The pipe going on the new motor is a Wegner X pipe. All black. Never seen one out here so I thought I'd guinea pig up.. Exact same as the one pictured except all black.

    Hi Sssmour,

If you change the wheels try keep same size. The standard fatbob tires are the best I've had on mine so far. Good milage and grip wet and dry. I found them to be the best by far when going through puddles. I've put the 18" stinger wheels on. I love the look but not yet found tires as good as the standard.

Thanks Bozza. Definitely plan to stay with the original wheels, but have changed the tyres to Metzeler ME880, they are great. So I have a set of brand new Dunlop D427's for sale if anyone is interested.
