G'day, so my bike is finally in getting the heartland 250 kit fitted along with some Burleigh roller bars 23 inch front, tank stretch and a custom paint job and some other stuff. My question is..... What are the standard parts worth to sell ? The shop fitting it for me has told me to come up with a price and he might take them or be able to sell them for me.
Hey Ben, who's fitting your Heartland kit & are you strecthing your original tank or replacing it with a stretched one?
Cheers, Spero..
Cheers mate, look forward to seeing a pic when it's finished..
A few pics... getting there.
Thats gona look awesome!
Yeah it's a 2012 model. 200 rear.
I picked the tins up from the paint shop today. Getting closer.
Heres a pic from the shop. I pick her up tomorrow.
Looks Red Hot.
Any pictures of the rear end?
I will have tomorrow after I pick it up.
I see your close by.... Im just at Kingswood.
It has a shotgun shock in the rear. $1250 delivered from the states and he writes the price down to get it through customs.
Paint was $4700. Labour putitng it all together was $6900. Wheels were $2500. Heartland 250 kit $5300. Neck rake was $1200. Tank stretch im not sure on the price. The rest is just bits and pieces, chrome fork lowers, braided lines, mirros etc.
It gives a ball park figure of what to expect anyway...
Edit... the neck rake, braided lines, fork lowers and bars were included in the $6900 labour cost. There was a lot more work than just bolting on the parts.
Thanks Man ... there`s no doubt about it , a person can sure spend some dough on their pride and joy but in your case it is money well spent ... if you were ever to put it in a show I reckon it will be a winner for sure ... Top Marks .
With the pipes when I bought it ... but different bars ... seat .
How I got her originally ... you can see why I changed the original seat , bloody comfortable but not the best look , Lol .
The other side that shows a better angle of seat and rear guard protector .
Got to get some more recent pics with new pipes and Air filter / cover ... Anyhow thanks for the replys and Congrats on your build , great job ... don't forget to let us know what you think of the 23" front wheel for handling ... may go that size myself but not sure if I would need to make some rake adjustments ... have fun riding her and don't get to paranoid when everyone is looking at you all the time , Lol .
Tim .
