that noise still scares me

     just put a new set of lifters in my ride. Thanks to Birdsbitz for good value and speedy service. 

    I really hate the noise that new lifters make when they are bleeding out the first time.  Done a few on cars and a

    ways had that same gut feeling where u instantly replay the entire job in case u forgot that vital step. 

    Still, soon went quiet and now with new tensioners, pushrods, cam bearings an lifters, I should be ok for a few more kms.

    Still hate that clatter though!

    Why not fill them before you install them

    Yea did that, soaked and pumped them in oil. Still get that initial clatter.

    JIMS tend too rattle a bit  thats why i don't use that brand

     I'm thinking I may need some for my new cam

    Done a bit of reading on crane 10530 roller lifters 

    ment to be same as harley b 

    @20 each fleabay

    any body tried?
