Guys,

further to the prevoius thread I've posted a simple bike stand for Softy's.

I have used it for the last 10 years on my '98 and now on my '08 so it should work for all in between years.

Based in the price of steel today, you should only need about 2.5 metres of pipe and this should cost less than 30 dollars.

Can you operate it by yourself Johno ,Or do you need another body

Easy by yourself.
Hold the bike up right (on flat ground) and you will feel the bar touch the 2 tubes of the frame under the bike as you pull the arm of the stand down towards the ground.
Then it will have either the front or back wheel off the ground, depending on where the stand is located..............piece of pi$$..............
