Are the Fat Bob tyres that bad?  I don't usually ride when its wet or damp...If changing the tyres will make a considerable change to the handling, i'd seriously look at changing them. Maybe go larger in the rear?

    Cheers

$200, fuck that when ya can buy it from ebay for $15 and join 3 wires. no brainer.

yep or beat the added ebay post costs and go to the auto electrical shop for $15 all up

I actually see the point of buying the complete set up, it's bad enough having the original insert in the shed with out also having the shell as well.

Might be time to look for some protectors

    Hey Chriso or Ozymax,

Do you have a link to the part that you both bought? I've only owned a Fat Bob for 48 hours now and already the headlight is shitting me.

    Cheers,

Light assembly is part number 69800-08 but check it with the dealer that it is the USA unit not Aust you want the domestic light not the international light. my email is fucked so I can't check my order. Try HH or Sys harley about $250.
If you buy the complete light assembly I believe the harness comes with it but it is about $450

    you need these also

don't be a cheap ass and get local plugs or you will end up with the high beam indicator staying on all the time. The ebay items are Delphi compliant.

    follow this for how to

That high beam on dash is fed by the handle bar switch
So is it bright as normal or a bit duller?

You got that right Chriso, they look like shit. I lasted a month and put the US domestic assembly on looks heaps better and brighter at night. And I have a spare assembly just in case

So where did you purchase the US reflector from? Local shop but with part number 69800-08. And that part has new globes with it? Just don't wanna buy the same one I've already got or something silly like that.

    Cheers Harry
