    Arvo fellow riders,

Just wondering if you guys can post any pictures of modifications you  have done from the dual to a singular headlight on the FAT BOB?

    Thanks in advance

The dual lights are what makes the FatBob stand out from the crowd, why change them?

Yep thats a nice bike thats for sure.
love the twin lights and would never change em, however did put the yank reflector assembly on so as to have both lights on.
hate the one light on one light off shit and can understand blokes changing them for that reason. very jappish

    I agree Chriso!

Anyone know where I could get the mod done in Sydney to have both lights on?

I’m fine with the twin headlights the same as I have twin headlights on my Buell. I just like to change things.

Not sure if this works on the Fat Bobs but there was an easy solution to get both lights going at the same time on my Buell.
Just swapped the low beam wire with the park light wire so that the low beam is on all the time - as well as when the high beam is on. Just means no park light with the high beam.
In the male end of the plastic connector housing I swapped the pin terminals over (bit of a bitch to get them out) so if I need to I can just swap them back. Can’t see why it wouldn’t work on the Fat Bobs?

Yep that looks fucked thats for sure.

Happy with em Max.Both on high, both on low. lights point to centre of the road regardless of the bullshit that the US version points to the right.
Heaps brighter then stock both on high and low however better globes could improve it more. H13s maybe?

So are they both double filaments?
if so you have a very good set up and worth the money for sure.
yea I never subscribed to the USA dipping right

I stuck the 'domestic' headlight (US home market) on mine so I have both on all the time for high and dipped.  It isn't legal here though as it doen't have the right marks on the reflector to satisfy the ADR regs.  I bought mine back in the days when US shippers were openly happy to ship to Aus though...

Very easy to change the whole thing over.

    Cheers,

    FatRob.

yea mate I know it isn't ADR but a lot of things on our bikes don't comply.

I am wondering if I just change the low beam over the the USA low / high then I will have both high's on. admitidly the low / high will point different to the standard high only but I don't see an issue with that

yep double filiment Max. It is the setup you want mate. Many bodgy ways blokes have done it but after much research i found this to be the cleanest and easiest way.
