I have a 2012 fatbob,and I chucked on some rush slipons with an air ccleaner,and a tts. My question is can I get the potatoes with just mufflers,and if so what is the safest I can turn the idle down to?

until your oil pump is not pumping up enough oil pressure.

A carb`d flat , knuckle , pan or shovel head bike , woulda been ya best bet , it reffers to the much earlier carb`d donks (particularly the knuckle i think) and although later carb`d donks shared a similar type of sound idled down , to replicate it would be near unachievable especially with an late model delphi injected TC , i think ?
Then again , i could be wrong too , but i thought ya could only idle injection down so far ?

Completely different type of engine. The sound came from how the crank was assembled and how the engine fired... It is different with a twin cam. As far as idle. 900 rpm is the lowest recommended. Anything under that you will find you loose oil pressure and damage will be done.

try the local fruit shop your bound to find a pair there  or 2

Answer from mechanic; Well ol mate, depends how ya like your potatos, very slow until disintegrated or quick in good quality oil and they can be reheated and keep the same shape, your choice of course.
