Beware hey , anything genuine will have 70% Thai import tax attached to the price , T`shirts , wallets and belts/buckles are about the only affordable HD gear , local Thai made gear may be cheaper but the quality also might be questionable in an road accident , unless ya paying for quality that is ?
If it works out to exxy , just save ya bucks and put it toward some real quality bike jacket here in Oz , Cheers

Through me off too hey , no HD Dealership in Phuket , unless it`s new (they were talking of opening others), there is one in Bangkok i know of , "was" run by `Hoss , Kiwi/Aussie expat , ex Victoria , top fella and will offer to have a coffee or lunch with any Aussie visitors , great source of advice for anything HD or bike scene in Thailand !
When they say Amazing Thailand , i think that they are refferring to HD prices there due to local tax (even accessories), be warned !
It`s @AUD$50k there , for a @AUD$30k here FLSTC , T-shirt purchase only , sorta place !
Bought a few T`s and and Thai Bike Mags , in one of them i found "4 pages" of pics , all thumbnail `patches and read there is @350 odd , patch clubs in Thailand , Baring some international clubs , many are usually ran by a local cop or gangs , most riding step throughs and some home made jappa chops !
They do have a HOG Thailand Group , outa there as well !
Worth a look see if ya up that way , need info or just wanna check it out ?

Motor cycle world WAS a HD Dealer, unsure if they are still trading. Was ran by a German guy, had quite a bit of gear there, very expensive though.

if you are talking clothing back in 09 there was a a few leather shops called Friendship leather in Patong that did a bunch of neat harley branded gear ... i picked up a cobra and leather "Harley" vest , and could have spent lots of $'s on all sorts of exotic gear.

Seriously - If you are hoping the quality of your jacket will save you in a crash - you should read the label as to where it's made.

Wasn`t the OP about Thai Purchased or Made , secondly , you can get the same gear as here , from the HD Dealer there , but If genuine HD (as here) it will attract 70% thai import tax , making the same jacket almost 70% dearer there , so yeah like ya say , cost !!
Like i fuckin said hey , UNLESS ya "paying for quality" hand made , it just ain`t worth it too me anyway , to buy even 2 of their cheap made low grade jackets , and better to put the hard earned coin toward that same thick genuine quality piece of gear here !

So ya telling me you can get a better made "HD (who gives a fuck where it`s made) quality" jacket out of phuket , that`s great man , well by all means show us , as i have yet to see even one in the dozen or more times i`ve been to Thailand , north to south , east to west and looking for that quality , "thai made" gear to buy and bring home , they don`t seem to use it over there , bar the very few , and deffinately not thick protctive style leather gear ?
The HD gear may be made in china , but to ""HD specs and quality control"" obviously , check their catalog as it states it in writting , and yeah you can also purchase lighter grade chinese copies of it with identicle logos from china too , fancy that , online , just like everything else they copy , see how long it lasts though , my current Aussie Dealer Purchased chinese made HD jacket is over 6yrs old weighs possibly 10+kg dry , has the road rash to prove it works , stitching and zippers held together 100% and not only is proven by the way it protected me on being slammed into the road (believe it or not the thick ones do afford you more protection), but i`d hate to have seen otherwise what woulda occured had i not had it on , or had only a lighter weight substitute or light grade leather vest on ?
Top of the range at $820 on the rack and paid $750 bought right here in Sydney , it will out live me for sure , show us what you can get for that or @23 000 Thai Baht in ANY Thai Shop for comparison !
Ya aware that half of Thailand is from China too , don`t ya`s LOL , so should be easy enough task right , i`d like to see ya`s show us the same size , cut , weight grain , stitch , finish and zipper quality for the same price out of the land of scams , as the jacket i wear ?
Doesn`t have to be HD either , plenty other brand names made outa china too man and then copied , so what`s ya points , post a pic of ya Thai Made jackets stating it`s price when ya get it will ya !
Unless you were sweating it out wearing it , as mine would take up half a suitcase and baggage weight allowance , I`d actually hate think of how much in excess luggage it would cost to bring back a 10+kg jacket on top of ya usual 23 kg of luggage , like i said just not worth it and like i said , especially if ya bought it from a +70% tax HD dealer there , as ya just wouldn`t ?

Yeah just as i thought hey , the 7th of April actually pauly , can`t wait to bring in the week long Thai New Year Songkran Festival with the family , seems ya building quite a fan club hey ?

I was in Phuket late last year and there is a Harley Dealer in Phutet Town which is on the east coast.  It was owned by an Aussie.  I didn't buy anything as prices were a bit high.  Worth a look though.

Besides the Motor Cycle World shop which wasn`t there last time i was there and not sure if it`s a fully stocked HD dealership ala HD of Bangkok which is a full on HD dealer and cafe , i just heard that there maybe another shop in Phuket , on the right as ya on the way to Patong from the airport with HD signage ? , seen some HD Phuket shirts too but not sure if genuine at all , but ya may be lucky , if there is anything genuine HD it will attract their 70% import tax anyway , but there are a few places that rent them now apparently , also a few bars themed HD and a few small shop stalls selling HD merchandise , again not sure exactly as there was fuck all in Phuket , bar rumors of a dealership maybe opening down there somewhere , last time i was there !
