That's a pretty good buy, apparently they have a lift capacity of 680kg, lifting range: 115mm - 418mm. Padded lifting platform with safety belt.

This one looks OK as well, has a couple of extra features.

Well I went out today and picked one up. It looks ok, sturdy enough, some of the welds could have been finsihed a bit better but overall it's a pretty solid thing. Cost is also a good thing, these are almost essential at this price.

It comes in a box which then requires minor assembly, instructions are clear and easy to read. It took less than 10 minutes to fit together.

I found for my bike (2012 Iron) it mounted under the frame after sorting out the balance point.  I can lift the bike evenly with good balance between front/rear.

Overall it will be great for cleaning the bike, rotating wheels for scrubbing, degreasing and cleaning the rotors etc. I am after it in the first instance for setting up the suspension on the bike.  There's an engine conversion in the works too. he he he...

I can drain oil from underneath without any problems.

See attached pics, all self explanatory hopefully.

    Cheers

Anyone tried with a Tourer? Ultra Classic?
I know the weight is around 400 and this is ok for 680 but??

i have a 2012 road king, weighing 368kg. this lift is rated for 680kg. i just tried it out (in fact just bought it today) and it works perfectly on my flhr. the lift is heavy (don't ride home with it on the back of your bike!!), but extremely sturdy, never expected it to be such great value at that price. easily fits under bike (no need to raise the jiffy stand), easily lifts the tourer (my 11yr old pumped the lift with his foot) and brings it back to earth slowly (or fast, depending on how hard you step on the release pedal). so thanks again for the post boys - will come in handy for cleaning, servicing etc

I would for sure use straps when putting it up that high. A buddy back home had his fall off for no known reason

As a heads up, REPCO here in Perth sell two different ones.  The 'other' one which is blue is SHITE.  When I went looking for the yellow one last time it wasn't on sale and I saw the blue one.  Looked better on the box and had fold out stabilisers but the build quality is crap.  I took mine back and got a refund.  Waiting for the yellow one to come on sale in Perth.

Yellow /Orange one is on sale. Thats what I got today. (Last one from Joondalup store).

Fits under the Ultra Classic Electra Glide perfectly (As in to the mm) and lifts it no problems.

Must admit it's a little scary the first time I lowered it back down. I still cal't work out how the stand can be at a 90 degrees and the bike not fall forward....

just be really careful with these guys. always have the bike strapped down also. dont feel confident because she is sitting fairly stable. even if you are just using for cleaning, tie your bile down. my sporty tried to swan dive off the front & to the left last night. was putting rear wheel back on & only just started to lower the lift & she almost jumped off the fucking thing. still dont know how i managed to catch her & then pull her straight back up and level. i could still see it all happening in my mind as i was standing there. i have had mine for a while & always tie the bike down. last night the strap slipped from where it was tight & i got lucky.

anyway just be careful with these guys while you are sussing them out. personally i will be upgrading to a table asap as far more safer & especially as better quality ones are getting more affordable.

I've got one too, bought it last year. Think I paid $150 or so for it.
It picks up my Nightrain no trouble.

Not sure of the straps though - mine didn't come with any.
I'm not quite sure where to attach them to, none of the pictures above seem to have any straps either.

    hmmm
    thanks for the pics

I always lift from the primary side too - I never even thought of lifting from the other side -
    - because as it comes down it just naturally tilts towards you and the side stand stops it.

Tim SG,   I have a Dyna as well.  Could you tell me what the Dyna lift kit is or post a pic.  Is it necessary with the bike lift from Repco?
