Hi everyone, first post so dont bite my head off just yet.

I just purchased a sert for my 48 and it didnt come with any installation guide, just the orange unit, no cables either. Will this just plug straight in? or does it require a cable kit to attach it to the bike? Ive been searching for the last 2 hours trying to find a how to on the install but so far i cant find a thing.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Ah no worries, thanks for that. One more question, does the sert live on the bike once tuned? Or is it just used as an interface for the computer to be tuned by laptop? Then removed once tuning is complete?

It's just an interface mate, but once you use it its married to the bike's VIN number and can only be used on that bike

you should thing about getting the training vid too it will help and if you need any help in tuning it let me know .

Thanks guys, bikes getting tuned by Anthony at maztech on Wednesday.

yeah goes great, im not happy with the quality of the pipes though, rough craft. o2 sensor was in the wrong position, had to remove the bung and re weld it, then the day after the tune one of the baffles flew out the back. Lost it as it was 10pm and i was on the freeway.

Got another baffle today and hopefully get to ride it tomorrow.

wish i had of gone 2 into 1's though, mid range is noticebly reduced from just the screaming eagles.

also cant speak highly enough of anthonys tunes, bike is 100% smoother than factory.

Hey primal have you got a dyno sheet to share? (sportster section has a dyno thread for posting). Im always keen to see Anthonys work. Or just hp/tq numbers to if you have them.
