Well the time has come to update my fatboy to a new one and have hit a hurdle of not being able to make my mind up between the two chrome options as i like both but would like other peoples  input on the saturn chrome you no the benifets or the problems with lookink after it compared to normal chrome. Please good people help me out so i can finaly lay down some cash

A have a fatboy lo in vivid black, and as such is "satin chrome". Well at least parts of it are..... And that's where the problem lies. Like most things from the MoCo they do it by halves, some parts satin, others chrome. So if you're after a dark custom look you gotta spend $$$ changing gear out.

As for maintenance never had a problem with the satin, but in my opinion it has dulled a little in last 12 months.

Would I go satin again? Probably not, but its personal preference.

Either way fatty is the way to go....

Yeah cool thanks for the input thats the sort of stuff i am looking for. I was wanting a fatboy but i can only get the candy orange in a fat boy lo which like you say they are really i mix of both chromes
