Any one ever block off/ remove the tank balance tube?

How much fuel would you not be able to use if it's blocked off. A fair amount should slosh over the hump at the rear of the tank I would think. It doesn't look like there is an actual middle hump at the rear anyway to me and the bottom of the tank is level so the fuel should be getting to the rear. Some models might have an issue and I think some models don't have it. Mine's 2012 dyna

If it only means missing out on 1 litre or less then for the stuffing around draining and removing the thing for me I can live with out it.
