Anyone had an issue running the std cam bearing with a bigger set of cams on a 103
Many thanks gentleman, do intend to put them in but now require the dealer as they have the tricky puller to remove the bearing.
This fella "madtownrydr" on HTT makes and sells a tool. Relatively cheap and easy as to use both to remove and install. Sent out to me no drama's and was fairly quick to arrive. Link for his thread: http://harleytechtalk.org/htt/index.php/topic,47.0.html
Have only used it once but have lent it out a couple of times so does come in handy...
never use old cam bearings on a new cam always replace the bearings even if just & inpection & always use the torrington type brand not the ina brand , Screaming Eagles are Torrington also they are stock on pre 1992 all models
