Does anyone know where in Perth I could find a quick release valve for the petrol tank crossover line?  And any rec. on experience with a good one - no leaks!

    Cheers,

    Marvin

Marvin I just got some fuel line and fitted T piece in the between and a run off a line cable tired to down tube

I just put the run of tube into a fuel tin and drain the tank before I disconnect fuel lines to remove tank, not a drop of fuel ends up on the floor

Thanks Ando.  Was looking at that as an option.  If I can't get a good quick release I'll go for that.

    Cheers

Thanks gents, saw those cpc ones myself - was hoping to be able to buy something in Oz!  Sounds like they do the job so will have a look.  Assume no issue with the fitting, saw it is 1/4" and the Softail hose is 5/16" ID?

    cheers

My softy was 5/16th's. Also got them to send 2 sets of spare seals just incase had a problem down the track. They cost sweet FA and gives a bit of peace of mind.

Tried to get them here in Perth through pirtek and some other places to no avail. Some places hadn't even seen them before! Came quick enough from the US anyway.
